I adore The Breakfast Club. I know it’s completely non-diverse casting wise, and if they remake it that’s the one thing that should be changed, along with updated technology.
But to me, it’s a quintessential film about teen life, and should be required watching for anyone going into teen services- while not completely representative of the entirety of cliques, it does such a good job of showing what happens between elementary ages and beyond.
And Bender had a clearer view than anyone- the quote above comes with me into every cube or office I work. Because it applies everywhere- screws fall out all the time, it’s how you deal with the fallout that matters.
