So here’s a question for you all (all y’all for those in the South with me)…
What do you like to see in a technical review? I am definitely on the geeky side so I can translate from geek to English, and I follow a variety of websites, blogs, and Twitter feeds related to gaming and technology.
Part of it is my fascination with tech and gaming, part of it is being surrounded by gamers and geeks (That Guy is a notorious geek/nerd, and most of my friends are some type of gamer/computer person, not to mention a lot of family), and part of it is keeping up with tweens and teens.
But I want to know what everyone out THERE wants to know about gaming systems, games, and technology. What would be really helpful in a review that’s not already OUT there. Why the game is rated like it is? Do I agree with the rating, and would I use it in tween/teen programming? Is it useful for library programming? How hard is it to set up and what equipment do you actually need? How do tweens and teens respond? How to play? What use is it? How do to a program with it? How to turn it into a toaster? (Well, that may not be the best use of city/school resources, but you get the point)…
Let me know what you want to see in reviews! Email me at library.groupie@gmail.com, use the comment box feature on the blog, send me a message on Twitter, reply below… I’m curious what you think!
