I think we do this all the time in youth and teen services.
We think:
we think that we can do something,
whether it’s a change we want to do within the library, a program, or something that needs to be done.
We believe:
we believe that we can do it, and we get everyone around us on board-
our staff, the circulation staff, the administration, the library board, everyone.
Then we dream:
we explore, we dream through the ways we want to do things,
we plan, and we get things together and ready to go.
And then we dare:
we launch the program, or get the change implemented,
and go forward with what we dared to do.
And that makes us the dreammakers and the changemakers.
